"Meet the Funders" -- Special Information Session for Nonprofits and Their Board Members

The NPO Group presents a special information session for Chamber nonprofit members to learn about how foundations serve the local community. The intent is to provide an insider's look at giving guidelines and interests. Some questions for the panelists may include:
    • What are the best/most-effective ways to make an initial contact with a funder?
    • Do most foundations only want to fund new initiatives?
    • How can fundraisers effectively develop an approach that incorporates multiple streams of engagement with corporate funders?
    • How can grantors and grantees work together to mutually advance their goals?
    Panelists include:

Sara Stephany, Director of Public Affairs, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA
Laura Kurzrok, Executive Director, Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation
Trish Gillis, Director of Philanthropic Community-Oriented Projects, Liberty Mutual Foundation
Moderated by George Toma, Owner, George Washington Toma and Board Member of Local Nonprofits

This session will be held at Road to Responsibility's corporate office located at 106 Longwater Drive in Norwell (Assinippi Park). Our host is Serenity Belo, Director of Development.
