Our steadily growing screen printing/embroidery company, originated in Dorchester, has recently expanded its Screen Print division to the South Shore. We are looking for a full time ART and Production Supervisor, with an ART background and knowledge of the textile printing industry.
Must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Screen Print art.
Must be punctual, organized and a team player who ENJOYS working with good people. Must be loyal, trustworthy, and fun and of course be creative.
Hourly rate will be determined based on experience. OT hours and pay available. During peak season, weekend and / or overtime hours may be required.
Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to determine best decoration type to give our customers the highest quality decorated apparel in the most cost efficient process
Create designs upon customer request and prepare for the customer approvals process
Output films and burn designs from film to screen, be able to determine screen mesh counts for highest quality print of designs
Schedule jobs in production – assigning best machines and determining print time for all jobs from start to finish
Monitor the art team and complete all pending art jobs in a timely manner
Manage scheduling jobs to insure all due dates are met
Must have high attention to detail, organizational skills and quality control
Must be able to consistently meet deadlines in a high pace environment
Assist with creation of company Marketing materials, lining up ads for our annual calendar of events
Proficiency in Corel Draw, Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, photo shop, illustrator and any knowledge of Shopworks a bonus
